World Para Powerlifting runs various development initiatives to support the growth of the sport with different stakeholders at all levels throughout the world.


“She Can Lift”: Women in Para Powerlifting Programme is a programme that began through support of the Agitos Foundation in 2018.

Through the creation of specific resources and delivery of coaches’ and technical officials’ courses in different regions, over 60 women have been impacted and empowered.

The World Para Powerlifting Video Database is a development and education tool that features thousands of athlete competition lift videos filmed from technical angles and tagged with performance data.

The channel allows athletes, coaches, technical officials and other stakeholders, from the grassroots to high performance level, the opportunity to review and study lift attempts.

The channel, available to Para powerlifting stakeholders at no cost, includes additional resources such as webinars, competition highlights and video features.

World Para Powerlifting runs a uniform donation programme through collaboration with partner, Kit Us Out and suppliers. Since 2015, athletes from over 30 countries have been impacted across competitions, including the Paralympic Games.

SOLADARITY PROGRAMME World Para Powerlifting provides athletes from developing countries the opportunity to compete at competitions, including the World Championships, through the Solidarity Programme. The programme is supported by collected technical challenge fees and other sources.
EQUIPMENT DONATION PROGRAMME World Para Powerlifting has an equipment donation programme through collaboration with Official Partner, ELEIKO. Up until today, over 60 sets of equipment have been provided to different countries, further developing the sport across different regions.
